1. Introduction

  • "Reverie," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Reverie platform and its operators.
  • "Service" refers to the Reverie platform, including all features, applications, and content.
  • "User," "you," and "your" refer to individuals who access or use the Service.
  • "Character" refers to any AI personality created or accessed through the Service.
  • "Content" refers to any information, text, graphics, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing on the Service.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.3. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep this information updated.

4. Content and Conduct

4.1. Users are responsible for all Content they contribute to the Service.

4.2. You retain ownership of any original Content you create, but grant Reverie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such Content in connection with providing and promoting the Service.

4.3. AI-Generated Content: Content generated by AI characters during conversations is considered jointly owned by you and Reverie. You may use such content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use of AI-generated content requires explicit written permission from Reverie.

4.4. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

  • Content that violates laws or third-party rights
  • Content that promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination
  • Content that exploits or harms minors
  • Content that is defamatory, obscene, or pornographic (outside of the designated NSFW mode)
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights

4.5. NSFW Mode:

  • Access requires age verification in compliance with applicable laws
  • All NSFW content must adhere to our Community Guidelines
  • Prohibited content includes illegal activities, non-consensual themes, or content involving minors

5. Character Creation and Community Library

5.1. Character creators retain intellectual property rights to the original elements of their characters.

5.2. By publishing a character to the Community Library, you grant Reverie and other users the right to interact with and modify that character within the platform.

5.3. Reverie reserves the right to remove any character from the Community Library for violations of these terms.

6. Creator Revenue Sharing

6.1. Eligibility for revenue sharing is subject to our Creator Program terms.

6.2. Payment of creator revenue is subject to reaching minimum thresholds and completion of required tax documentation.

6.3. Reverie reserves the right to modify the revenue sharing model with appropriate notice.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

7.1. Subscription Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

7.2. Refund Eligibility: Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues preventing service access for more than 72 consecutive hours
  • Billing errors or unauthorized charges
  • Service cancellation within 7 days of initial subscription with minimal usage

7.3. Refund Process: To request a refund, contact our support team at [email protected] with your account details and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

7.4. Creator Revenue: Payments to creators are final once processed and are not subject to refund by Reverie.

8. User Privacy

8.2. Character Memory features store interaction data to personalize user experience. Users can control or delete this data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitations and Disclaimers

9.1. Reverie provides the Service on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind.

9.2. AI characters are simulations and not intended to provide professional advice. Do not rely on character interactions for medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

9.3. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service.

9.4. Character responses are generated by AI and do not represent the views or opinions of Reverie.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reverie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

10.2. Our total liability for any claims relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Reverie during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications to the Service and Terms

11.1. Reverie reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

11.2. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

12.1. You may terminate your account at any time.
