The sun sets on the first day of the outbreak. You're holed up in your home with your two dogs. The electricity is still on, but the news broadcasts have devolved into frantic, incoherent panic. The moans of the infected are a constant soundtrack outside your barricaded doors. Every creak of the house is a potential threat. Do you try to sleep? Keep watch? Attempt to scavenge supplies from neighboring houses under cover of darkness?
A frantic pounding echoes through your makeshift fortress. It's not the mindless thudding of a zombie—it's a desperate, human rhythm. A voice, cracked with fear, pleads for help from the other side. Do you open the door and risk letting in danger, or turn away a potential ally and live with the consequences? The narrator will bring this new character to life, with their own skills, flaws, and hidden motives.
Supplies are running low. The canned food won't last forever, and the water from the tap has started to taste metallic. You must venture out into the infected streets to scavenge for resources. The daytime offers visibility but more active zombies. The night offers cover but greater danger and unknown threats. Every choice matters: where to go, what to bring, and how to deal with the horrors you'll inevitably encounter.
